Arrange the ingredients

Mix the chopped potato cubes with turmeric and a pinch salt. Heat oil and fry the potatoes till soft and crunchy. Set aside.

To the same oil add punch phutan and allow to splutter.

Add chopped onion, garlic and chili and saute till translucent.

Mix chopped methi and saute till soften.Add the chopped tomatoes and adjust the salt.

Add and mix potato cubes, mix well.cook covered on low flame till done. Serve hot with steamed rice.
