Steps

Dissolve custard powder in 1/4cup milk and keep aside.

Boil milk and add custard powder,add sugar also.Cook till thick,stirring contineously.Put off flame and let custard cool in freezer for 1 hour.

Meanwhile whisk cream for 6-7minutes or till stiff peaks arise.

Take out chilled custard from freezer and add to whipping cream.Add vanilla essence and food colour also.

Whisk the mixture with the help of an electric /hand whisker.

Transfer in another bowl /tin and keep in freezer for 6-8hours.

After 8 hours custard ice cream is ready to be served.Scoop out and garnish with cherries and pistachio.

Serve chilled.
