Ingredients

10 minutes.
4 persons
  1. 500 ml+1/4cupfull cream milk
  2. 2 tbspvanilla custard powder
  3. 1/2 cupsugar
  4. 1 tspvanilla essence
  5. 200 mlwhipping cream
  6. 2 dropsyellow food colour
  7. 2-3cherries for garnishing
  8. 1 tbspdry fruit flakes of your choice (for garnishing)

Steps

10 minutes.
  1. 1

    Dissolve custard powder in 1/4cup milk and keep aside.

  2. 2

    Boil milk and add custard powder,add sugar also.Cook till thick,stirring contineously.Put off flame and let custard cool in freezer for 1 hour.

  3. 3

    Meanwhile whisk cream for 6-7minutes or till stiff peaks arise.

  4. 4

    Take out chilled custard from freezer and add to whipping cream.Add vanilla essence and food colour also.

  5. 5

    Whisk the mixture with the help of an electric /hand whisker.

  6. 6

    Transfer in another bowl /tin and keep in freezer for 6-8hours.

  7. 7

    After 8 hours custard ice cream is ready to be served.Scoop out and garnish with cherries and pistachio.

    Serve chilled.
