Ingredients

1 serving
  • 2Eggs
  • 2 tbspMilk
  • 1 tbspMayonnaise
  • 10 gramsButter
  • 1rice bowl's worth Ketchup rice

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix together the eggs, milk, and mayonnaise.

  2. 2

    Slightly heat a frying pan and evenly apply butter. If the frying pan is too hot, the butter will burn.

  3. 3

    Reduce the heat to low, and pour in the ingredients from Step 1.

  4. 4

    Cook as-is for about 40 seconds. Once the edges have begun to cook, use chopsticks to mix in a circular motion, from the outside going in.

  5. 5

    Stop mixing before it cooks and while it's still creamy. Let it sit for 10-20 seconds.

  6. 6

    Stop the heat, and fold the top and bottom edges in towards the center. Place on top of the ketchup rice.

  7. 7

    When you stick your fork into the center of the omurice, the delicious contents will come oozing out.

This was rather bland for adults, after adding a bit of salt and pepper to the mix it tasted great ;)
Maybe for kids a hint of salt would help too.
