Gulkand Kheer

The vibrancy of colors is something that brings in a lot of positivity in our lives and Holi being the festival of colours is actually a day worth rejoicing.
Kheer is generally prepared on holi as the main sweet. So why not to make our day more special and colourful, by just adding colour to our food too?
I added rose syrup and gulkand to enhance the taste and colour of the kheer.
Here sharing holi special recipe .
Happy Holi to all.

When the kheer becomes slightly thick and the vermicelli is cooked add sugar. (You can skip this step and add dates syrup or honey)

Add 1 cup of chopped dry-fruits. Cook for another 5 minutes. Let it cool down to room temperature.

When cooled down to room temperature add rose syrup and refrigerate the kheer for 2 hours.

Once cooled, serve it with gulkand on the top with some tuti-fruti (optional).
