Wash, peel, and cut the potatoes into small cubes or thin slices.

In a deep skillet, add the garlic seasoned in oil or the chopped garlic clove with a little oil, heat it up, and add the potatoes. Stir and cover to let them soften a bit. Add the chopped tomato and onion, stir, cover, and let sit for a minute. Add the machaca, chicken bouillon or salt, stir, add water depending on how soupy you want it, let it boil for about 12 minutes, and our stew is ready.
