Easy Hearty Chicken Teriyaki for Barbecues

An easy recipe I learned from the wife of the principal of an English conversation school All you need are scissors and a dish to put the chicken in.
It comes out well, even without measuring accurately. Experiment with the amounts to find a taste that you like.
Keep an eye on it if cooking it over the coals, since it burns easily. Recipe by Eriririn

Steps
- 1
Cut the chicken up with scissors into whatever size you like and put it in a dish.
- 2
Pour in enough soy sauce to just about cover the chicken.
- 3
Add the same amount of honey. Add more if you like it sweet.
- 4
Sprinkle in the garlic powder; the more the better.
- 5
Marinate it for one hour. It's even tastier if you marinate it overnight so the flavors soak in really well.
- 6
Put on the barbecue! You can cook in a frying pan, on an iron grill pan, or right over the coals.
