Steps
- 1
Add flour, salt and oil. Mix well.
- 2
Add water little by little and knead to make a dough. Knead the dough using your palm.
- 3
The consistency of the dough is very important to make a puff poori. Not too soft or too stiff.
- 4
Cover and rest it for 10 mins.
- 5
After the resting time, again knead the dough for a while. Divide it into 6 to 7 small balls.
- 6
Take a ball and flatten it by pressing between your two palms. Dust it with some dry flour.
- 7
Roll it evenly. Heat the oil & fry it with gentle pressing using the spatula at middle of the poori. The poori will puff up right away.
- 8
Make sure the oil is hot. Roll each ball evenly to make a puff poori.
