Sabudana khichadi
Steps
- 1
Wash Sabudana 2-3 times. Soak with 1/4 cup water overnight
- 2
Steam the soaked sabudana for 3 minutes.
It will look soggy and squishy but that's ok..it will be fine later. - 3
Dry roast peanuts. Remove the skin of peanuts and grind to make peanut powder (not very fine)
- 4
Crush green chillies and coriander together
- 5
Heat 1 teaspoon oil and add the green chilli - coriander and potatoes...saute for few seconds and add salt.
- 6
Add the sago seeds and the peanut powder
- 7
To make the khichadi more moist, I add 2-3 teaspoon of water while cooking. But this is totally optional.
- 8
Sprinkle sugar and keep mixing the khichadi to avoid it sticking to the bottom of the vessel.
- 9
Cover and let it cook for 2-3 mins.
- 10
Serve hot with curd or coconut chutney.
