I made an easy and cheap fruit sauce to enjoy daily with plain yoghurt!
It will harden if you overcook it, so aim for a slightly watery consistency.
Add more sugar if you prefer a sweeter taste.

Peel the kiwi, cut into quarters and slice into 3-4 mm half moons.

Transfer in a large heat-proof bowl, then mix sugar and lemon juice. Let sit for 5-10 minutes.

Microwave (500W) unwrapped for 10 minutes. Quickly skim off the scum and mix.

After crushing the kiwi, microwave (500W) for another 6-8 minutes until the mixture has thickened.
