Wash bitter gourd, cut both the edges,, scoop out the seeds throughly

Slice the bitter gourd thinly, add it in a pan, pour 1 glass of water add salt and Turmeric powder, let it boil until soft

Drain water, mash roughly with the potato masher

Keep a pan, add oil, fry onion, chilli, garlic until golden brown, now add roughly mashed bitter gourd, cumin powder, curry leaves, sprinkle little water, cover and cook in low flame for 10 min

Add grated coconut salt, and cook in high flame without lid for 5 min
- 6
Serve with rice, even children like the taste
