Ingredients

10-15 minutes
3-4 people
  • FORcustard
  • 500 mlmilk
  • 80 mlmilk
  • 1 tbsppowder sabudana
  • 2 tbspcornflour
  • 1 tspvanilla essence
  • 4-5saffron threads
  • 2-3 tbspsugar
  • 1/2 tbspbutter
  • For fruits
  • 1/2apple cut into diced
  • 1/2banana cut into diced
  • 1/4 cupgrapes cut into half
  • 1/2mango cut into diced
  • Fewpomegranate pearls

Steps

10-15 minutes
  1. 1

    To make sabudana powder:- in a blender jar add sabudana and grind it into a fine powder and keep it aside.

    In a bowl add sabudana powder, cornflour powder, vanilla essence, saffron threads with 80 ml milk and mix it properly and make a custard slurry.and keep it aside.

    Now in a heavy bottom pot on medium flame add 500 ml milk. Let it warm nicely. Add sugar and stir until it dissolve.

    Now add custard slurry and cook milk become thick. When milk becomes start to thick then with a hand blender blend it properly until smooth. And now continue cooking for 2-3 minutes or until the the mixture is smooth and shiny. Once milk start boiling switch off the flame.

    Pour the custard into a bowl and add butter on top of custard, so that there is no layer of cream. Keep it in refrigerator to cool down for half an hour.

    Once the custard cool down completely take out from refrigerator.and take a strainer and strain this mixture properly in a bowl.

    Now in a serving bowl add all fruits and then pour the prepared custard

  8. 8

    Garnish with pomegranate pearls and serve chilled.
