Immunity Booster: Mango-Ginger Alè

Bangalore- INDIA

Mango-Ginger: It neither belongs to the mango family nor the typical ginger one
It’s scientific name is something different too: it’s called as the CURCUMA AMADA…
It actually belongs to a clan of the ginger family that’s termed as the ‘Zingiberaceae’: Which’s closely related to the turmeric family…
It looks alike any normal typical ginger but the very sharpness or pungency of its smell & tastes differ than the original ginger which’s quite lesser & balanced, rather it gives us a raw Mango flavours to it !
These are mostly & primarily used in preparing pickles in the South India & chutneys in the North & Western/Eastern parts of our country.

It does have its enormous health benefits including its immense medicinal values & is highly regarded & known for that all across the country, however it’s not very easily available throughout the year & in every parts of our country but typically, if you search for it- You’ll get it, as I procured it through the BBDaily in this hardcore Lockdowns in B’lore- But that’s once in a while perhaps

A hardcore Bong- that has a tremendous wanderlust in her blood as well as that much passion for cooking new ideas and recipes & also, camouflaging certain recipes across the globe-Of course, all that maintains its heritage and cultures in its looks and taste both yet caters to the day’s call/requirement to be health conscious but a great foodie that’s innate in her genes and tries to satiate the crowd- Be ANY, with all that 😊💁🏻‍♀️👍🏻
