Steps

First take chana dal & soak 30 mins cut the spinach leaves and keep aside

Take a kadai / pan in a low flame now add oil to it let it heat.

Add mustard & cumin seeds, chopped onions, green chillies let it fry 2 mins add turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and mix it.

Now strain out water from chana and add to kadai mix it.let it cook for 3-4 mins. Then add chopped 1 tomato mix it.

Next add washed spinach leaves and mix it then add salt to it and cook it until it becomes thick. (20-25) mins. Off the flame.

Now it's ready to serve. Serve it with rice or chapathi.
