During the summer, eating raita is very good for us—it cools and refreshes, and also helps with digestion.

In a bowl, add the yogurt and whisk until smooth. Add the water and mix well.

Add the mashed potatoes (keep them slightly chunky), green chili, cilantro, red chili powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix everything together.

Your aloo ka raita is ready to serve. Crush the roasted cumin seeds by hand, sprinkle on top, and serve.
