Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 lbsfresh or frozen peeled shrimp (you can also use prawns or langoustines)
  • 1 1/3 cupsmayonnaise (about 300 grams)
  • 2 tablespoonsketchup
  • 2 tablespoonsbrandy
  • In this recipe, we used these ingredients, but you can also add
  • 2 tablespoonsmustard
  • 1 tablespoonWorcestershire sauce

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil the frozen shrimp for a few minutes in boiling water.

  2. 2

    While they cool, prepare the pink sauce.

  3. 3

    In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise and ketchup. Add the brandy and mix. The sauce is ready.

  4. 4

    Alternatively, once the pink sauce is prepared, you can add mustard and Worcestershire sauce, mixing well to combine all the ingredients.

  5. 5

    Once the shrimp have cooled, mix them with one of the prepared sauces, ensuring the shrimp are well coated. Refrigerate for at least a couple of hours or until ready to serve.

  6. 6

    We serve them in cups garnished with a lettuce leaf.

    They are also beautiful served on canapés using sandwich bread.
