Steps
- 1
These are the spices which we are going to use for this homemade chaat masala. You can adjust the salts and red chilli as per your taste.
- 2
So to begin with start dry roasting the whole red chilli until the moisture of it goes away then add cumin seeds followed by fennel seeds and coriander seeds. Dry roast all of them on a medium flame until a beautiful aroma of the spices start to come out. Then off the flame.
- 3
Allow it to cool down then grind it to a fine powder once grinded to a powder then add both the salt and amchur powder and grind again. Once done check the consistency and stop grinding.
- 4
Then allow it to cool down completely and then transfer it to an airtight container. It can be stored for 6 months on room temperature in an airtight container at a cool place. Use it in chaat, samosa, dahi bade, bonde or anything of your choice. Do try it and enjoy.
Happy cooking 😊
