The Instant Pot makes boiling eggs so easy. They never touch the water, they're EASY to peel, and no dark ring around the yolk.

Ingredients

7 min high pressure, 5 min natural release
  1. Eggs (as few as 1, or as many that will fit into the pot)
  2. 1 cupwater

Cooking Instructions

7 min high pressure, 5 min natural release
  1. 1

Add one cup of water to the inner pot. Place eggs in a basket, or on a rack, or other safe container -- then into the inner pot.

  2. 2

Pressure cook on HIGH for 7 minutes.
After cooking is complete, Natural Release for 5 minutes.

  3. 3

After Natural Release for 5 minutes, place eggs in ice bath to cool.

  4. 4

Easy to peel... they slide right out. Make a dozen Deviled Eggs, egg sandwiches, or just store some in the fridge for a quick pop of protein. Hard boiled eggs will keep in the fridge for about a week.

  5. 5

Beautiful... No dark ring around the yolk.

  6. 6

For SOFT BOILED EGGS, pressure cook on HIGH for 1 or 2 minutes, depending on how soft you like them. QUICK RELEASE when eggs have finished cooking. No need for an ice bath.

  7. 7
