Fragrant Olive Oil & Basil Bread Rolls

I wanted to make use of this delicious olive oil that I had, and I also wanted to make easy-to-eat little breads, so I thought up this recipe.
These rolls will turn out beautifully if you precisely measure the weight of each portion when dividing the dough into six pieces. Recipe by Kopan

Steps
- 1
Place all of the ingredients, except for the olive oil, into the home bread maker and start the dough mode! Add the olive oil after 6 minutes.
- 2
Once the dough is complete, divide into 6 portions. One portion is about 60 g.
- 3
Shape into smooth balls with taut surfaces. Cover with a damp cloth and let rest for 15 minutes.
- 4
After letting them rest, roll out into circles.
- 5
Shape into perfectly round balls. Let rise a second time until they're 1.5 times larger than the original size. While checking on the rising of the bread, preheat the oven to 180°C so that it's ready when the dough has finished rising.
- 6
Slash deep cuts into the tops and dribble in some olive oil. Bake for 18 minutes in a 180°C oven and they're done!
- 7
Such a wonderful aroma. They taste great with pasta. You could also enjoy these sandwiched with slices of ham, cheese, or tomato.
