I make this when I need another side dish because it's so easy to cook up.

I make this when I need another side dish because it's so easy to cook up.

Drain the liquid from the canned tuna. Combine with mayonnaise and black pepper.

Slice the onion crosswise into 4 circles and sprinkle with katakuriko. Fry the onion starting from the larger sides (that are facing up in this picture).

Heat some oil in a frying pan. Fry the onions over low to medium heat until they're well done.

Turn them over. Place the tuna from Step 1 and the cheese on top of the onion. Cover the pan and continue to cook until the cheese melts. Done!
