Wash and drain basmati rice and soak about 20 minutes take deep pan add water and cook rice with lid on medium flame till the rice become soft but not mushy

Meanwhile we make tomato puree in mixer grinder now put pan add ghee add jeera let them splutter add hing,curry leaves ginger garlic paste and cashew nuts saute well

Now add puree stirring constantly add dalchini salt and then we add cooed rice and mix gently now cover and cook just 2 minutes serve hot with raita
