#This is my grind mother's favourite and special recipe. She use to make this walnuts stuffed kachoris on festivals like holi and Diwali. The crisp crunch of walnuts in this kachori gives it a unique taste.

#This is my grind mother's favourite and special recipe. She use to make this walnuts stuffed kachoris on festivals like holi and Diwali. The crisp crunch of walnuts in this kachori gives it a unique taste.

Soak moong Daal im water for 4 hours. Then grind coarsely in a blender.

Coarsely grind walnuts and transfer it in a plate.

Heat oil in a wok. Add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter add coriander seeds and fennel seeds and saute for 1 minute. Add dal and saute till golden brown. Add salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix well. Now add grinded walnuts, garam masala and mango powder and mix. Switch off the flame and keep aside to cool the stuffing.

Mix all the ingredients for making dough except water. Mix well. Now add water slowly and knead a tight dough. Rest for 10 minutes.

Now take a portion of dough and make small balls. Roll a ball with your hands and keep 2 tb spoon stuffing.

Bring the sides to centre and make a ball again. Flatten it in round with help of hands.

Heat oil in a wok. Deep fry kachoris on low flame till golden brown colour.

Like wise make all the kachoris.

Serve hot with sauce or chutney.
