Soak chana overnight.

Take a pan add oil,sabut garam masalah (4 black pepper, 1 inch stick cinnamon, 2 cloves, 2 bay leaves.Add onion slice fry til golden.

Add chana,(do not boil) cook continuously 10 - 15 minutes, add little water and cook. (bhoonay).add 2 glass of water, put at low flame and cover. Aprox: 40 to 50 min:, cook in the same way, till chana becomes tender.

Add all dry spices, salt and tomatoes, cover for 10 min: and cook, till tomatoes become soft and smooth, add potatoes, add 3 glass of water or according to the type of your rice. Boil for 5 min:, potatoes are half done.

Add rice(soaked for 20 min:), check salt and other spices.when water dries, add green chillies and put on dum.for 10 min:.
