Ingredients

45 minutes
6-7 servings
  • 1 kgBasmati rice
  • 1 kgbeef
  • 5Tomatoes medium sized
  • 6Onion medium sized
  • 2 tbspGinger garlic paste
  • 1/2 cupYogurt
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tspRed chilli powder
  • 2 tspTurmeric powder
  • 2 tspBlack pepper powder
  • 2 tspCoriander powder
  • 2 tspGaram masala
  • 2 tspRed chilli flakes
  • 2 tspCumin powder
  • 3-4Whole black pepper
  • Bay leaves
  • 1/2 cupFresh coriander chopped
  • 2-3Green chillies
  • 1/4 cupOnion brown
  • 6-8Lemon slices
  • Yellow food colour as need

Steps

45 minutes
  1. 1

    Washed and soaked basmati rice for an hour.
    Then boil rice with salt,zeera, Bay leaves,oil, green chillies,mint leaves and let it boil.

  2. 2

    Heat oil add slice onions and ginger garlic paste. Add beef and fry it for 2 mins then add spices. Add yogurt and cook well with beef till it changes it's colour. Cook for 25 minutes when beef gets tender.

  3. 3

    Now mix hara masala, tomatoes, green chillies and fried onion, lemon together. Put the mixture over your beef curry add food color, gram masala powder add a tbsp of crushed red chilli too for extra flavour. Now add this mixture over rice.

  4. 4

    Pour 1 tbsp oil over the rice. Cook and cover on high flame for 20 mins then put it in dum for 20 mins and yummiest masaledar restraunt style beef biryani is ready to serve.
