Ingredients

Serves 3 servings
  • 1/2 poundcooked fava beans or canned fava beans (about 225 grams)
  • 3medium tomatoes
  • 3 tablespoonstahini
  • 5 tablespoonsolive oil
  • 2 tablespoonspomegranate molasses
  • 1medium onion
  • For garnish:
  • 2tomatoes
  • 1little parsley
  • Radishes
  • Tahini
  • Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoonmixed spices:
  • Sweet paprika
  • Black pepper
  • Cinnamon
  • Cumin
  • Chili powder
  • Garlic
  • Salt

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Sauté the onion with 2 tablespoons olive oil, then add the tomatoes, followed by the fava beans. Stir the mixture, then add the spices.

    Let the mixture cook for 3 minutes, then add the tahini and pomegranate molasses. Stir well and turn off the heat.

    Transfer the fava beans to a clay baking dish and bake in the oven for 5 minutes. Garnish with whatever you have on hand. Enjoy!
