Ingredients

  1. Filo dough sheets or puff pastry
  2. 1small container (about 7 ounces/200 grams) sour cream
  3. 1 packagebacon bits
  4. 3large onions
  5. 1heaping tablespoon mustard
  6. Butter
  7. Salt and pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Slice the onions, then season with salt and pepper. Microwave in a covered dish until tender.

  2. 2

    Cook the bacon bits in a skillet until slightly crispy.

  3. 3

    Layer the filo dough (or puff pastry) sheets, brushing a little butter between each one.

  4. 4

    Mix the sour cream and mustard, then season lightly with salt and pepper. Spread the onions, bacon, and cream mixture over the dough sheets and bake in a convection oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes.
