Ingredients

28 minutes
  1. 150 gunsalted butter
  2. 250 gdark chocolate
  3. 3eggs
  4. 25 gmaple syrup
  5. 25 ghoney
  6. 250 gcaster sugar
  7. 65 gplain flour
  8. 8 gcocoa powder
  9. 1/2 tspsea salt
  10. 100 ghalved hazelnuts

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 160°C

  2. 2

    Melt butter and chocolate together over a bain marie

  3. 3

    Whisk together eggs, sugar, maple syrup and honey

  4. 4

    Pour melted chocolate and butter into egg mixture and whisk

  5. 5

    Fold in sifted flour, cocoa powder, salt and hazelnuts

  6. 6

    Line a tray with baking paper and pour in mixture

  7. 7

    Bake for 20 minutes then turn tray and bake for a further 8 minutes

  8. 8

    Allow to cool for 30 minutes before slicing
