I used to put the eggs one by one using a ladle into a boiling water, but It was troublesome, so I created this recipe.
It's much easier to pour the boiling water into a pot with the eggs.

Pour rapidly boiling water into the pot.
If you are not so picky about soft-poached eggs, you can use hot water from an electric water kettle. Recipe by kyonmi

Ingredients

  2. 1Hot water

Cooking Instructions

    Bring water to a rapid boil in a kettle.

  2. 2

    Place the eggs in a pot.

  3. 3

    Pour the Step 1 boiling water into the pot to cover the eggs. Boil them for 7 minutes over medium heat.

  4. 4

    Drain the water, and put the pot under running water for 5 minutes to cool.

  5. 5

    Tap the wider end of the egg.

  6. 6

    Crack, and peel the shell.

  7. 7

    Wow! It just came right off.

  8. 8

    This egg was boiled for 6 minutes.

  9. 9

    The one on the left was boiled for 7 minutes, and the one on the right was boiled for 8 minutes.
