Boiled Macaroni in the Microwave

Using the gas stove is so much trouble, so I came up with a way to cook the macaroni in a microwave.
The cooking time will vary depending on the microwave, so adjust accordingly. The lid should also be microwaveable. If you don't have a microwaveable lid, use plastic wrap. Recipe by komutatata.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Pour the water into a microwaveable container.
- 2
Place the macaroni (1/3 the amount of water) straight into the container from the package. (Make sure they are completely covered with water.)
- 3
Microwave for 6 minutes at 600 W, uncovered.
- 4
Quickly cover the macaroni with a lid and let it sit for 6 minutes. Then it's done. (It will have a somewhat stiff texture.)
- 5
Drain the macaroni in a colander and let sit. It will become a little softer after sitting in the residual heat. If you soak the noodles in water and then drain, they will turn out a little stiffer.

How to Boil Potatoes in the Microwave How to Boil Potatoes in the Microwave
My friend taught me this method. You don't need to throw away any incombustible plastic wrap, so garbage is decreased a little bit.The cooking time will change depending on the size of the potatoes. If they are still somewhat hard after poking with a toothpick, microwave for 30 second intervals until done. They will be really hot right after cooking, so watch your fingers! How to Boil Potatoes in a Microwave How to Boil Potatoes in a Microwave
I wanted to make some potato salad for lunch, so I thought I could make a small amount in a short time using the microwave. Our microwave has a setting for root vegetables, but I played around with it to find out what works best for those without such a setting.I tried out various things, but the amount of time it takes varies. At first, I wrote that it takes about 5 minutes for a 200 g potato, but it ended up a little tough, so I changed it to 3 1/2 minutes for 100 g. How to Boil Bright Green Broccoli in the Microwave How to Boil Bright Green Broccoli in the Microwave
I didn't really put much thought into this method but after I finished boiling the broccoli like this it turned out to be the best broccoli that I had ever made. Please adjust the heating time depending on your model of microwave and the broccoli texture that you're aiming for. Please sprinkle the salt over the broccoli evenly. Even if you think the broccoli might end up a bit too salty, it won't taste too salty in the end. Feel free to use however much you like though. When the broccoli has cooked, drain or pat away the moisture for a vivid colour and salty flavour! Recipe by Aki kitchen *aki cookpad.japan -

Steamed Kabocha in the Microwave Steamed Kabocha in the Microwave
Since these are steamed with water, they won't turn out dry but deliciously moist. They're very convenient for various dishes, so always make them. I just came up with it on the spot. You can even eat these plain because they're so delicious. They also go well with ground sesame, salt, dashi soy sauce, mayonnaise, etc.Step 2: The cooking time will vary on your microwave. Keep your eye on them. The time will also vary on what you'll be cooking the kabocha for. If they will be later fried, cook for a short time. If they will be used in salads or croquettes, heat for longer. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221 cookpad.japan
