Easy and Quick Lentil Patties

I make the lentils in a pressure cooker, but you can definitely use leftover lentils. Also, spices ... to taste. The recipe is based on https://cookpad.wasmer.app/gr/sintages/15114755-phakompiphtekia-eukola-phakophel?invite_token=ktgJrv7NGbv1ziJd3gdHVbTE26shared_at=1623862385

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Add the lentils to the pressure cooker with salt, pepper, and curry powder. Stir for 1 minute after the oil heats up, sauté them, then add the boiling water and cook for 10 minutes (counting from when the valve rises).
- 2
Drain the cooked lentils to remove the liquid (this takes quite a while...)
- 3
Puree the lentils in a blender (or if they are very soft, with your hands) and place them in a bowl. Mix the lentils with the chopped onion, eggs, flour, parsley, cheese, vinegar, and breadcrumbs.
- 4
Shape into patties and bake on parchment paper in the oven at 400°F for 15 minutes.
- 5
Remove and brush the patties with oil using a brush, flip them, brush the other side, and bake for another 10 minutes. To prevent them from "drying out," remove them immediately after.

Cheap and tasty! Soft Fried Tofu & Veggie Patties Cheap and tasty! Soft Fried Tofu & Veggie Patties
I was thinking about how I could use up one packet of tofu with all the leftover vegetables in the fridge. I finally came up with this recipe! You can use any leftover vegetables in the fridge! When you fry them, don't move the patties before they've browned. They're very fragile, so leave them to brown until firm enough to be turned over easily. Recipe by Kumasannokaachan cookpad.japan -
My Family's Quick and Plump Tofu Hamburger Patties My Family's Quick and Plump Tofu Hamburger Patties
I'm the type that makes hamburger patties without sautéing the onions. Hamburger with tofu is a go-to dish for our family. It is easier to shape the patties if you drain the firm tofu really well. The key to make the hamburger plump and soft is to continue to combine the mixture until it contains air and becomes white and sticky.Serve it with your favorite sauce, Japanese sauce, or make simmered hamburgers. Great way to use up leftover quinoa. You can add in pretty much anything you have (finely chopped cooked broccoli or peppers, for instance), and it will be delicious. Ben.P -
Squash patties Squash patties
I love squash. All squash. I make these patties out of yellow summer squash or zucchini or a mix of both. They’re almost like eating a hash brown. The longer you let the shredded squash drain, the more bite to the patty. These are a great vehicle for anything you want to put on top or straight out of the skillet. My daughters and I make ourselves sick eating these 😂#mycookbook SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -
Indian Veggie Potato Patties Indian Veggie Potato Patties
In India, this is sold at street-side food stands, but is also sometimes made at home. Since India is a vegetarian-based country, the local McDonald's also serve these potato burgers (McAloo Tikki), which are popular with people of all ages. With that in mind, I came up with this recipe for a home-cooked version. For this recipe, I used spinach since it was on hand, but you can use any variety of cooked mixed vegetables. Just parboil and chop and prep any vegetable on hand, and add it to the mixture. At McDonald's, they serve them deep-fried, but this recipe is the authentic way of eating them. This one is simple and taste. Made this from memory. Add some finely chopped celery to the batter before frying to make them tastier. I didn't have any at this moment, sadly, so I made them plain. Angela Mertoyono
