Ingredients

3-4 servings
  1. 1 Cancorned beef
  2. 10+ Lu'au (taro leaf)
  3. 1 CanCoconut Milk
  4. 1Onion
  5. 1/2 CupMayo
  6. Baking Soda (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Peel and prep lu'au.

  2. 2

    Boil lu'au in a pot for 40min while using a stirring utensil to encourage break down of the lu'au.

    Pour out water.

    Refill pot and repeat boil for 20 mins.

    Pro Tip: Add a pinch of baking soda to soften lu'au to the next level.

    Pour out lu'au into colander and let drain

  7. 7

    Press lu'au to get rid of excess water

  8. 8

    Slice onion

  9. 9

    Throw onion and corned beef into pot and cook for a minute or so

  10. 10

    Mix in lu'au, Mayo, and Coconut Milk

  11. 11
