  1. 1/2 kgSoaked chana daal
  2. 3-4Onions large
  3. As neededGinger
  4. 2,green chillies,
  5. as per taste salt

    Clean chana daal.soak chana daal overnight

  2. 2

    In morning once again clean it and grind it with green chillies,ginger,salt according to taste

  3. 3

    Now pour this batter in patila and add finely chopped onions

  4. 4

    Make balls but flatten it.you can use tea strainer.take tea strainer turn it upside down.put this chana daal vada and deep fry it

  5. 5

    Serve hot with tomato ketchup or coconut chutney

  6. 6

    Tip: serve immediately other wise after keeping it for long time it becomes soggy
