Wash and rinse urad dal, then soak it for 5-6 hours.

Now take out the water and put the daal in a grinder jar and grind it.

Use a minimum of water so that batter doesn’t become very thin.

Take out the paste in a big bowl and beat it well with your hands to make it a little fluffy.

Add cumin, salt, red chili powder, chopped onion, and garlic to it.

Now heat oil in a wok. When oil is hot enough for frying put small portions of the batter and make dumplings.
fry till golden brown. - 7
Fry all the pakodis like this and serve with chutney
