Take a bowl add flour, baking powder and baking soda and salt, sugar and almond meal sift all and keep aside

Now in another bowl add yoghurt, oil, honey, rose water and mix well

Meanwhile put the oven in 180 degrees for preheat and grease a six inch cake tin

Now add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Mix well make sure you don’t over mix

Now place the batter into the cake tin and garnish on top with almond flakes. Place in the oven and bake for 30-35 mins.

Once the cake is baked take it out and let it cool down for 5 mins. Meanwhile take a pan and ready the honey syrup. in the pan add 1 1/2 tbsp water and let it boil

Once boiled turn the gas off and take aside. Now add 1 1/2 tbsp honey and 1/4 tsp rose water mix well

Now using a tooth pick make small holes into the warm cake

Now pour the honey syrup on top and let it completely cool down. Garnish with rose petals and your honey almond cake is ready
