I was inspired to recreate my mum special prawn masala. Since she has passed away, cooking and recreating her recipes makes me feel closure. This recipe is so simple and it was thought by my mum while I was studying abroad.

I was inspired to recreate my mum special prawn masala. Since she has passed away, cooking and recreating her recipes makes me feel closure. This recipe is so simple and it was thought by my mum while I was studying abroad.

Firstly take a bowl and marinate the prawns with the ingredients listed to marinate and set aside for 30 minutes

Next take a pan and heat up some oil, and when the oil is hot add all the ingredients which are listed “to temper “. Then when ginger and garlic and cooked add the marinated prawns to this and stir it well. Make sure the prawns are coated well.

Then close the lid and occasionally keep stirring till the prawns and the gravy is cooked well. Keep in mind that prawns doesn’t take much time to cook, so keep stirring and make sure it doesn’t burn. Finally when the prawns are coked, garnish it with some coriander leaves.
