Turkish Sausage & Eggs (Sucuklu Yumurta)

Whip up this hearty Turkish breakfast classic - Sucuklu Yumurta. The hearty dish comprises Turkish sausages (or sucuk), which is redolent of spices and garlic, and cooked with sunny-side-up eggs. This is one of my favourite #brunch recipes in #mycookbook !

Whip up this hearty Turkish breakfast classic - Sucuklu Yumurta. The hearty dish comprises Turkish sausages (or sucuk), which is redolent of spices and garlic, and cooked with sunny-side-up eggs. This is one of my favourite #brunch recipes in #mycookbook !

In a pan on medium heat, place the slices of Turkish sausages in the pan. Spread the slices out evenly.

Add butter into the pan. Let it melt and maneuver the pan gently to let the melted butter spread across the pan.

After 2 minutes, use a spatula to flip the slices of sausages over. The sausages should have turned slightly brown.

Crack in the 3 eggs. Cook them till the yolk is slightly runny, as you would want to dip some of the yolk with bread.

When the eggs have been cooked. Serve fresh in pan!
Eating tip: Dip slices of bread into the pan and soak up the oil. The oil is flavourful as it has been infused with juices from the sausage.
