Ingredients

15 minutes
4-5 servings
  • 1 cupgram flour or besan
  • 1/4 cupsemolina
  • 1 tspcoriander seeds
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  • 1/8 tspbaking soda
  • 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • 1/8 tsphing powder or asafoetida
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala
  • 1 tspcoriander powder
  • 1/2 tspBlack pepper
  • As per taste Salt
  • 2 tspsugar or as per taste
  • 1/2 tspfennel seeds
  • 2 tspginger green chilli paste
  • 2 tsplime juice
  • 1 tspsesame seeds
  • 1 cupchopped fresh fenugreek or dry fenugreek
  • Some chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 tsphot oil
  • as requiredOil for frying
  • 1 cupwater or as per need

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    First, take a bowl strain the gram flour then add semolina and all dry spices, and mix well.

  2. 2

    Now add ginger-green chili paste soda then add water and make a smooth batter.

  3. 3

    Now add hot oil fenugreek coriander leaves and lime juice and mix well and keep it aside for at least 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Now heat the oil and make gota by hand and fry until gota turns golden brown.
