Ingredients

  1. 1 cupmilk powder
  2. 1/3 cupself raising flour
  3. 10 tbspmilk
  4. 2 cupssugar
  5. 1 cupwater
  6. 3-4cardamom pods
  7. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl add milk powder and flour. Mix well.

    Add the milk, 6tbsp at first and then add remaining gradually(if needed) and mix to a soft dough.

    Cover and set aside for 10 mins.

    Meanwhile make a syrup.
    In a pan add water, sugar, cardamom pods(break it open before adding).

    Bring to a boil. When sugar has dissolved completely, turn off heat and leave to cool.

    Divide the dough into small pieces and roll in between your palms to form balls.

  7. 7

    Heat some oil and fry the ball on low-med heat until golden brown.

    Drain excess oil on a paper towel and then put the balls in the syrup.

    Let soak for about 15 to 1 hour depends on how juicy you like them.

    Can be served warm or chilled. Enjoy! 😋😋
