Steps
- 1
Add all your dry ingredients into a bowl
- 2
Add water into the bowl and knead until your dough is well combined. If it’s runny, add more water - if too dry, add more water. Once done, place into a margarine coated bowl and cover with cloth or cling wrap and wait for your dough to rise.
- 3
Your dough should have risen twice it’s original size after an hour.
- 4
Allow water to boil in a big out and proceed to put your dough. You can also put in in a plastic bag first then put the dough in the pot.
- 5
Let your dough cook for 45 minutes, if the water burns - add more water.
- 6
After the 45 minutes, cut into the bread with a clean knife. If the knife comes out with sticky dough then it’s not ready - allow it to cook a little longer. If it comes out clean then it is ready.
- 7
Allow it to cool on the side for 10 - 15 minutes then serve with curry of your choice.
