I’m slowly but surely getting a firmer grasp on baking and cooking low carbohydrate dishes. Low on carbs and high in protein and fiber. But so good you don’t even know it. I’m pretty sure that’s the name of the game for me now. So here’s one of my all time faves. Tastes like the ones mama used to make.
Fruit Cobbler

I’m pretty sure that’s the name of the game for me now. So here’s one of my all time faves. Tastes like the ones mama used to make.
Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 400. In a baking pan, add the butter and allow to melt in the oven while you prepare your batter.

In a bowl combine the first 5 ingredients and mix well. Set aside. Should be a thick batter. In the Pan of melted butter, add the fruit and the 1/3 cup of brown sugar and mix around. Spoon the batter evenly over the fruit. Bake for 25-30 minutes uncovered.

Best recipe there is for making ANY kind of fruit cobbler. All you have to do is change the water amount based on the fruit. For raspberries/blackberries/peaches/pears adding 1 cup is enough.
