Ingredients

30 mins
3 people
  • 1small bunch of matoke
  • 1 cupgram flour
  • 2 tbsprice flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Abit ginger
  • Pinchbicarbonate soda
  • Oil for deep frying
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the matoke well,with the skin on. Keep it aside

  2. 2

    Take both flours & add the spices with the bicarbonate. Add water. Make a semi thick batter.

  3. 3

    Now using a slicer. Lengthwise slice it, very carefully.Heat the oil on medium. Then dip in batter & deep fry.

  4. 4

    Once done remove & sprinkle some red chilli powder. Serve hot with chutney or sauce
