Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 10 slicesginger
  2. 8 clovesgarlic (Only remove the skin)
  3. 8 tbsprice wine
  4. 3 tbsplight soy sauce
  5. 1 tbspdark soy sauce
  6. 2 tbsprock sugar
  7. Sesame oil
  8. Spring onion
  9. 10 piecesbasil leaves
  10. Chicken thigh or chicken whole legs

Steps

  1. 1

    Chop chicken thighs or whole legs

  2. 2

    Boil to remove scum

  3. 3

    Add some sesame oil into the pan

  4. 4

    Add ginger into pan and fry till fragrant

  5. 5

    Add in garlic and spring onion

  6. 6

    Add in chicken and fry till fragrant

  7. 7

    Add in rice wine, light and dark soy sauce and sugar into the pan.

  8. 8

    Once it starts to boil, turn on small heat to reduce gravy

  9. 9

    Finally add in basil leaves and put the lid on to cover for about 10 seconds

  10. 10

    Add some sesame oil for fragrance. Remove and serve.
