Potato Patties Stuffed with Ham and Cheese

In a pot, boil the potatoes in water with salt until a fork easily pierces them.

Once cooked, peel and mash the potatoes well. Add salt and pepper to taste, mix well, and add the butter.

Shape the mashed potatoes into balls of your preferred size. Place a small piece of cheese and a piece of ham in the center of each ball.

Seal the balls and shape them into patties. Dredge each patty in flour, then dip in beaten egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.

Fry the patties in enough oil until golden brown on both sides. Remove and serve hot. You can serve them with a salad.
