In India, a great variety of puris are made with different ingredients and are flavoured with simple spices available on our kitchen shelves. Besan methi puri is one such fried Indian bread that is made by combining wheat flour and gram flour. It is flavoured with kasoori methi and simple spices which are available in every masale ka dabba.
Besan methi puris can be served for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. They stay good for two days, so, you can carry these spicy and yummy homemade puris as a travel snack....I also made besan puri chaat...😍

First add the besan in a bowl. Now add half crushed black pepper, carom seeds, turmeric powder, asafoetida, salt and kasuri methi and mix everything well.

Now add a little water in this mixture and knead medium dough. Now add wheat flour and knead the dough for 1 minute. Now add oil to this dough, grease the dough well for oil and knead a little.

Now make four big loaves of this besan flour dough. Weave a very thin loaf of wheat flour. Then cut into round shapes.

Now heat oil in a pan and fry a little golden on low flame. Now our crispy and crunchy besan methi is ready.

Now prepare chaat. In a bowl, add chopped tomatoes, capsicum, boiled corn kernels, cabbage and onion and mix well.

Now add red chili sauce, mayonnaise, cheese spread, tomato sauce, chaat masala, black pepper powder, oregano and red chili flakes and mix well.

Arrange the besan puri in the plate. Now put 1-1 tbsp topping on this puri and garnish with black olives, grated cheese, besan save, chaat masala, red chili flakes, oregano and green coriander leaves.

Now our crispy and very healthy Besan Methi Puri and Puri Chaat is ready for serving.
