Baked Doughnuts

Doughnuts are easily made in an oven too. Healthy and delicious at the same time. These can be made and stored for later use or in bulk for children's party at home. Simple ingredients and a Doughnut pan is all that one needs for making these at home. Decorate them with your choice of glazes and enjoy them with a cup of Hot Chocolate or a Cappucino.
But I have used a normal baking tray for these beautiful Doughnuts.
And these are perfect for any occasion or special days. All you need is an oven. After that there's no stopping you. You can make them in batches. And the best part is that it just has Yeast and a few more ingredients.
That's it. Easily done in the comfort of your homes.
Chocolate Ganache is also very easy to whip up and the toppings are upto you to decide and decorate as your family loves.

Steps
- 1
Add everything to a bowl and mix. Knead a sticky but smooth dough out of it. Use of Milk or water is upto you. I used the former.
- 2
Cover and leave it undisturbed for an hour or two preferably in a warmer place. After the time, you will see a doubled up dough in volume.
- 3
Punch it down to release the air bubbles and divide it into equal parts of about 11 to 12. Roll and shape them into a doughnut as seen. Place them on a butter paper lined baking tray. Brush with a little Milk or melted Butter.
- 4
Leave it for 20 more minutes for the second proofing. After it, they look like this. Fluffy and all ready to go into a preheated oven.
- 5
Bake for about 22-25 minutes on 180° until golden and crisp from the outside and soft from the inside. Let them cool down a bit. Dip them in Chocolate Ganache and decorate them as desired. Enjoy!
