Easy and Authentic Seafood Doria with Mushrooms

I love doria, so I used to make it all the time, but it was troublesome to prepare white sauce in a separate pot. When I tried the way shown here, it turned out to be a lot easier even though it was just as tasty. You can use wiener sausages, broccoli, etc., anything you want.
I recommend using Krazy Salt and white pepper during Step 5.
I think a slightly runny sauce instead of thick and hard sauce tastes creamier.
You can put the rice in the heatproof dish and pour the sauce on top instead of mixing them together during Step 6. Recipe by Natsumi

Steps
- 1
Mince the onion. Remove the stems from the mushrooms, and separate into pieces. Lightly wash the mixed frozen seafood, and strain away the excess water.
- 2
Heat the butter in a frying pan, and sauté the onion. When it starts to become soft and wilted, add the mushrooms, and continue stir-frying.
- 3
When the mushrooms become soft, add the mixed frozen seafood. Swirl in the white wine, and evaporate the alcohol.
- 4
Add the flour, and mix without making lumps. Stir well with a wooden spatula, and pour in the milk in 2-3 batches.
- 5
Add the consomme cube, salt, and pepper. Simmer until it becomes your desired consistency while stirring constantly (Refer to Helpful Hints).
- 6
Turn off the heat, add in the rice, and mix well. When you are using refrigerated or frozen rice, warm it up before adding it to the pan.
- 7
Transfer into a heatproof dish, sprinkle with the pizza cheese, and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes at 250℃ until the surface has browned.
- 8
When baked, sprinkle with parsley, and enjoy.
