Ingredients

1 hour
2 servings
  • 2 cupsboiled chickpeas
  • 400 gchicken with bones
  • 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tbspred chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper
  • 1/2 tspchilli flakes
  • 1 tbspcoriander powder
  • 1/2 tspmethi daana
  • 1/2 tsproasted and crushed cumin
  • 1/4 cupoil
  • 1/4 tsppisa garam masala
  • 1/4 tspturmeric
  • 1 tsppaprika
  • 3 tbspoil
  • 1medium onion sliced finely
  • 1small Tomato chopped

Steps

1 hour
  1. 1

    In a pot heat oil and fry onions until golden and crispy. Set aside

  2. 2

    In the same oil add methi dana and ginger garlic paste. Fry for a minute

  3. 3

    Add in chicken, tomato and all powder masalas and give a good mix

    Now add fried crushed onion and mix well

  5. 5

    Now add chickpeas and a little water.cover and cook until reaches desired consistency.

  6. 6

    Now prepare tarka by heating paprika in oil

  7. 7

    Pour over prepared murgh cholay. Serve in a handi
