Ingredients

20 minutes
2-3 persons
  • 1 tbspoil
  • 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  • 2dry red chilies
  • leavesFew curry
  • 1large onion chopped
  • 1large beetroot (chopped)
  • 150 gboiled chickpeas(Boiled with salt and turmeric)
  • As per taste Salt to taste
  • 1 pinchturmeric powder
  • 1/2 tspred chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil. Splutter mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Add dry red chilies and curry leaves.

  2. 2

    Next add chopped onion and saute till brownish.
    Next add beetroot. Mix.
    After some time add salt and turmeric powder. Cover and cook till beetroot is soft yet crunchy.

  3. 3

    Next add the boiled chickpeas. Add red chili powder. Give a mix. Let it be on medium heat for sometime. Flip and mix at regular intervals.

  4. 4

    Finally add garam masala. Mix and let it be in slow flame for a minute or two.
    Next switch the flame off.

  5. 5

    It's ready!!
    Serve hot with rice/ phulka.
