Shakarkandi Chaat/Sweet Potato Masala Chaat

Sweet potato can be consumed in many ways. It's the adorable, sweet root vegetable to use in fasts. Many recipes are made out of this vegetable. I love chaat and gulabjamun made out of Sakarkand.

Sweet potato can be consumed in many ways. It's the adorable, sweet root vegetable to use in fasts. Many recipes are made out of this vegetable. I love chaat and gulabjamun made out of Sakarkand.
Steps

Wash and boil Sakarkand in pressure cooker for two whistles. Cool down and remove skins. Chop into pieces.

Heat ghee on a pan cumin seeds and allow to splutt. Then, add Sakarkand pieces, a pinch turmeric powder and salt. Fry on low to medium heat until crisp.

In a bowl take fried Sakarkand pieces and all dry masala powder mentioned in the ingredients section. Add lemon juice.Transfer to serving plate.

Pour the beaten curd then
Sev, chopped coriander leaves and pomegranate seeds. Sakarkand,Chaat is ready to serve.
