Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2Japanese leeks
  2. 200 grams●Ground chicken breast
  3. 1/4●Onion
  4. 2cm piece ● Ginger
  5. 1● Egg
  6. 50 grams● Chicken cartilage
  7. 1● Salt and pepper
  8. 1 tbsp● Katakuriko
  9. 1 large☆Water
  10. 2 tbsp☆ Chinese Chicken stock powder
  11. 1☆ Salt and pepper
  12. 2cm piece ☆ Ginger
  13. 3☆Red chili peppers

Steps

  1. 1

    Add the ● marked ingredients into a food processor and process until fully combined.

    Thinly slice the Japanese leeks diagonally.

    Add ☆ marked ingredients in a hot pot and bring to a boil.

    When boiling, shape the chicken mixture from Step 1 into small balls add to the pot.

    When the balls start to float, add the Japanese leeks! Cover with a lid and cook until the leeks are very soft.

  6. 6

    Enjoy with ponzu sauce. Add ra-yu (hot sesame oil) if you'd like.
