Beef Livers and Garlic Shoot Stir-fry

cookpad.japan @cookpad_jp

I wanted to make a sustaining food for my tired husband by using garlic shoots. I also wanted to make a dish with liver, which is good for me because I have anaemia. So this dish is for both of us. I used the garlic shoots. which were given to me as a gift.

I used 70 g of garlic shoots in the picture. You can reduce the amount, and add more bean sprouts. Since this dish has a strong taste, it's ok to use 1 bag (200g) of bean sprouts. Recipe by Manmarumauchan

Steps

  1. 1

Soak the liver in water for about 10 minutes to remove the unpleasant smell. Wipe excess water with a paper towel.

  2. 2

Soak Step 1 in the seasoning for 10 ~ 15 minutes.

  3. 3

Chop the garlic shoots into 4 cm.

  4. 4

    Mix the ☆ ingredients.

  5. 5

Pat dry the excess sauce from Step 2 with paper towels, and coat with katakuriko.

  6. 6

Heat a slightly large amount of oil in a wok. Fry both sides of Step ⑤ until browned. Remove from the wok.

  7. 7

Wipe the remaining bits from the wok, add oil, then stir-fry the garlic shoots. When fragrant, add the bean sprouts.

  8. 8

Once the vegetables are evenly cooked, return the liver to the pan. Pour in Step 4 sauce, and stir-fry briefly.

  9. 9

Swirl in sesame oil and stir-fry for a short time if you like.

  10. 10

Serve onto a plate, and it's done.
